What’s the difference between vinyl and DTG?

VINYL- Great for simple solid designs such as text or clip art type designs.  These are created by cutting the design out of vinyl and pressing it onto the shirt.  This provides the opportunities to create garments with solid vibrant colors as well as special effects such as glitters, metallics, reflective, glow in the dark, neons and chameleon.  

DTG- Direct to Garment printing is ideal for more intricate designs or full color designs. This process is done by pretreating the garment for application of the ink.  The shirt is placed in the printer and printed (similar to the way an inkjet printer prints on paper).  

Our ink is RoHS compliant, Recyclable product3, Epson America, Inc. is a SmartWay® Transport Partner4, Epson UltraChrome DG Ink is certified by ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX®, meaning it’s safe for adults, children and babies.
